Sometimes you're the statue...and sometimes your dinner

Sometimes you're the statue and sometimes you're the seagull???

I couldn't resist taking this picture, it reminds me of the saying "sometimes you are the pigeon and sometimes you are the statue".
The statue is that of Samuel deChamplain, the French explorer who with 15 companions introduced the white race to the natives of Ontario. He arrived here on the shores of Lake Simcoe exactly 400 years ago in the summer of 1615. He spent that winter with the Indians, making his headquarters here, which was the chief village of the Huron Nation.

We also had some visitors that thought they could hitch a ride on our swim platform...we told them if they didn't get lost they were going to be duck soup! Mark was looking up roasted duck and they decided to leave.
